MIKE + KAYLA

This past Saturday, getting up at 5:00 A.M. and driving by 6:00 A.M., I traveled to Aledo, Texas to spend the day with a couple whose love for not only each other was shining bright and radiant that day, but also for God.

Mike & Kayla were finally getting to say their 'I Do's on a beautiful property in Aledo in front of many friends and family that have traveled from all over to see the happy couple get married.

After popping some bubbly and pouring and making mimosas, the morning started off with a gorgeous orange and pink sunrise while Kayla and the girls got ready, sipping the delicious beverages and snacking on Chick-Fil-A chicken minis for breakfast.

Then, when I got to the beautiful, rustic-style barn where the guys were getting ready, I got to meet Mike's groomsmen and some of his best friends and I am truly happy that Mike has such amazing friends in his life.

The Maciel's were blessed and showered with places to get ready, getting married at and cheers and feast with friends and family by some awesome members of their church.

The wedding property was surrounded by gorgeous lengths of land, trees, and many types of animals - including a Zebra!

It was the best place for an outdoor, rustic-style wedding. And surprisingly enough, the heat wasn't too bad for a June wedding in Texas. The couple planned it out perfectly so that when the hottest part of the day was to arrive, the wedding was over by that time. But rest assured, we had plenty of food, water, and amazing hospitality from the couple who owned the home and land.

The Maciels danced, ate, and celebrated at their reception before leaving and being surrounded by tons of bubbles being blown at them as they made their getaway to Mike's truck to start their honeymoon in the beautiful Nashville, Tennessee!
