MEET HUNTER

I was born in Abilene, Texas, and raised in the small town of Breckenridge, Texas.

Coming from a very small town, there wasn't a lot of job opportunities for a high school kid to choose from aside from the grocery store, McDonald's, or Wal-Mart. But grocery store I did!

After working there, I started my first serving job at a restaurant in my hometown. For a high school student leaving with $50 - $60 cash in his pocket on most nights after working for 8+ hours was like a gold mine - and then, I graduated and moved to Weatherford, Texas, and entered the wonderful world that is the service and food industry and saw how the city people tip.

From Weatherford, I met the love of my life and now wife, Chelsi.

Our story is funny but so are we!

For the next year, we dated in Weatherford until I got accepted into the University of North Texas in 2010.

From 2010, my life has gone through many ups and downs.

After serving for many years, I decided it was time to get a "real job" (and if you haven't ever waited tables, you have no idea how much of a real job that is. So while we awaited our first son, Gunner, to arrive, I became a kitchen manager. Thinking that's what I wanted to do as a career, I pursued it. But, then I started picking up my camera, a little Canon Rebel t3i, and started taking photos and soon realized, I had another passion. I left restaurant management and went to work as a bartender again. The freedom of time allowed me to go back to school, so in 2018, I did. And then in 2020, I finally graduated!
