“I may not be your first love, first kiss, first sight, or first date but I just want to be your last everything.”

PAUL + KIM

On Friday, I traveled to Azle, TX to capture the overflowing love of Paul & Kim.

As I ventured down a long road surrounded by cows, greenery and so many trees, I came upon the beautiful and enchanting 100-acre venue, 'The Orchard'. Not only is the Orchard a gorgeous wedding venue, but the amazing owners offer on-site lodging featuring a six-bedroom lodge with an outdoor pool and fifteen beautiful cabins! The manager of the venue, Kevin was extremely friendly and helpful as was the Lemmons' wedding Coordinator, Terri, who was not only helpful and highly experienced, but she was keeping me laughing all day long.

The wedding day for the Lemmons went absolutely perfect if I do say so. The bride, Kim, was without a doubt one of the most gorgeous brides that I have ever seen. I have known Kim's daughter, Lexie, for a little over 10 years and I absolutely adore her - so, when I was asked to shoot her mom's wedding, I knew that she would be exactly the same - sweet, kind, and AWESOME! And I was right.

The groom, Paul, was one of the nicest grooms I have met as well. This was Paul's first marriage and he hit the jackpot with Kim. These two have a love that you can tell has been blooming since day 1 of their meeting.

The happy couple have been together for about 2 years and finally decided to tie the knot in front of their parents, children, friends, and family.

The ceremony was amazing - and funny, too. When the couple was reciting their vows to one another, Paul was repeating what the minister was telling him to say, but he was looking at the minister instead of Kim. That made everyone laugh and had Kim looking at him, laughing and saying "You're supposed to look at me, I'm the bride", haha.

But when they finally said their 'I Do's and post-ceremony photos were over, the party started! (and, we went in from the 95+ degree heat to cool off).

The reception area was extremely spacious (and airconditioned) and which was covered and surrounded with beautiful flowers from T&T Flowers & Gifts, the smells of the amazing barbeque from 'Patriotic Pig' filled the reception area, the Michelob Ultra and Miller Lite's were flowing and the music from DJ John was bumping and everyone was having a great time.

The reception was a lot of people visiting that hadn't seen each other in years, so it was not only a celebration of Paul & Kim but a reunion for lots of people.

By the end of the night, everyone was so overjoyed by this wedding, as was I. These two are two of the kindest, caring, and most generous people that I have ever met, and believe me when I say I am absolutely honored that I was chosen to shoot their special day.

I truly cannot say enough kind things about the venue, the wedding coordinator, DJ, officiant, etc... Everything about this wedding and day was an absolute dream.

Have fun in the Bahamas, you two! You guys deserve it and a lifetime of happiness!!!
